AI-Assisted Translation
Prerequisites
To use AI translation, you must first configure at least one AI provider's API Key in AI Settings.
How to Use
- Select the target language to translate.
- Click the AI Translate button.
- AI will automatically translate all untranslated entries within the current filter range.
- Progress is displayed during translation (completed count / total count).
- You can click Stop Translation at any time to interrupt the process.
Translation Rules
Before using AI translation, it is recommended to configure translation rules to guide the AI's translation style:
- Click the Translation Rules button.
- Write rules in the text box, for example:
- Maintain a light, humorous tone
- Use "you" instead of "thou"
- Use Latin-style names for magic-related terms
- AI translation will reference these rules.
Translation Review
After AI translation completes, all results enter a pending review state:
- The interface displays the number of translations pending review.
- Review AI translation results item by item; click Approve or Reject.
- You can also use Approve All or Reject All for batch operations.
- Rejected translations return to untranslated state, awaiting manual translation or re-AI translation.
Terminology Glossary
The terminology glossary maintains translation consistency, ensuring the same term uses the same translation in different places.
Adding Terms
- Click Add Term.
- Enter the source language term.
- Enter the agreed-upon translation or notes.
Usage
- AI translation references the glossary and prioritizes agreed-upon translations.
- Serves as a reference standard for manual translation.
- Helps team members maintain consistent translation style.
Tips
- It is recommended to complete translation of core dialogue content first, then handle UI and descriptive text.
- The glossary should be established before translation begins, especially for proper nouns (character names, place names, magic names, etc.).
- AI translation is suitable for batch processing, but it is recommended to carefully review results, especially for dialogue with emotional content.
- The more specific the translation rules, the higher the AI translation quality.
- Regularly check translation progress to ensure all target languages keep up with content updates.
